Fender Precision identification help…

Can anybody help me identify this precision bass? I acccidently deleted the pic of the whole body, it’s an island-route so no open route to the the control cavity, appears to be a refinish of a refinish and the topcoat feels like something other than urethane and it’s cracked and checked in places. Any help is much appreciated.

A little more data is really needed to give You more information about the bass.
For identification it would be necessary to see a picture of the head from front and back, a picture of the bridge, neck heel and neck but.
For precise identification, a picture of the pickups from the back, and the potentiometers would be needed.

Based solely on the pictures you posted, no one would dare say anything more than that the Precision is white

+1 to that. Its not going to be possible to identify a Fender just from the neck pocket. I am not sure I can make out enough to make sure its actually a Fender

to clarify, I don’t have the original neck, it’s actually Daphne blue and appears to be a refinish over surf green. I will post the pics you suggested later today. It was presented to me that it is an 80’s AVRI body…

Show photos of the whole body including the contours and we can tell you if its a Fullerton era reissue. Based on what I see already it does not appear to be because I cannot see a router bump. It could be hidden by the angle of the photos.

The pickups look like the '62 reissues from the '00s with that bevel.
The wiring harness isn't what they ever put into reissues either.

I think the pots date to 2001 as well. But I am terrible at reading pot codes so I am very possibly wrong

I remember a 70s Music man Sabre that happened to....cracked finish all over.

This issue has come up on Talkbass before and was a manufacturing problem
