Fender Precision = most popular model?

Yeah, I just picked one up a couple of weeks ago after a 15 year absence. It sounder just right in the mix with no hassles. Go figure. All those years of buying different basses only to re-discover the P.

this happens to many players. in my infinite wisdom it happened to me.:hmm: once i started using fenders again, everything i track just seems to fall into place with no issues. as you said, go figure. peace, jeff

Love the Precision!!! It just sounds right. It's extremely versatile, although maybe for progrsssive players it's not the right bass (I'm not a progressive player... no tapping etc, for me). But you can play any kind of music with it... it sounds right and looks right.

Plus, I love the simplicity... one volume knob, one tone knob. I hate instruments that you have to fuss with, to get a good sound.
