Those pickups are awesome! I'd never use anything but a Duncan in a P. I bet this thing sounds great.

Damn! I like how the thumb rest is sooooooo close to the spit pickup. Nice bass.

The thumbrest is actually notched to set over the pickup...allowing you to play at the sweet shop...right on top of the pup!! Its something I've done for 40 years on all my basses.

I can attest to the sound of this bass.....its GREAT!! We spent a lot of time together!!
