The Roscoe Beck Fender basses are wonderful. I have an RBV in Candy Apple Red and an RBIV in see through red. Both of mine have Pau Ferro finger boards although Fender specs say the RBIV has rosewood. Nope...mine is Pau Ferro. Someone is going to get a great bass.
Oh yeah, what a Beauty. I was looking for exactly that one, or a honeyburst on this side of the pont. But no luck. In the end, I got a 3TS. Sounds awesome. My RB4 has a Pau Ferro finger board as well. While actually my RBV looks like it is more rosewood. But AFAIK all RBV hat Pau Ferro. If I was you, I'd keep it.
