Fender Rumble 25 V1 ?? worth 80$?

Hi I found a Fender25 rumble V1 in very good condition for sale for locally for 80$ canadian on craiglist.
What are your thoughts on this amp for practise/rehearsals ? Small gigs etc.
80$ seems like a steal ....
That isn't a bad price. They're nearly C$200 these days after tax.

Use? Practice only.

It would have to be a pretty quiet gig for it to be sufficient. Small room. Def no drums or electric guitar.

FYI, Fender used to make a Bassman 25 back in the aughts. I had one for a few years and sold it a few years back. It has a headphone jack & aux in (RCA jacks so you'll need an adapter) like the Rumble plus it has an effects loop, external cab out, line out, and tuner out. The aux in has an adjustable level as well which most current amps don't offer.

The cabinet can be stood up as normal or tilted back for better hearing at practice.

All told, it's just a very well featured little amp that stomps any comparable stock Rumble into the dirt. Highly recommended if you can find one.

I recently found one again. How much?; C$100 on FB marketplace (Regina). Worth every penny.

After I bought it, I took it home and started giving it a going over. Then I noticed something. This amp has the exact same little markings on the tolex that my previous B25 had. Checked records and it's the same one. Glorious!

I'd like to get the whole series. Great combos!

Edit for Terrible Pics (I kind of vibrate so pics are difficult, sorry)

Yes, I like getting basses more than doing home reno's lol. Not a high income guy. Just good at being patient for deals.

That is not even close to the same amp.

I know. I missed where you said it was a V1, sorry. I thought you had a V3. Iirc the Rumble V1's were made around the same time as the little Bassman. The Rumble's front panel has the same features minus the mute and enhance switches. Does it have any of the rear panel features as the Bassman?

I'd still get the Bassman if possible. It still sounds better than the Rumble regardless.

C$64 isn't a bad deal. We're Canadian. Up here when new they go for $150-$200 + tax.
Sorry... $64 USD.

Went to Canada once. Loved the gas prices, then realized it was liters.
Was in Detroit on our way to visit my Aunt. Just crossed over so I could say I was there. Nice little side trip. Grabbed some post cards and drove around a bit.

That was pre-911 so no passports and no hassles from your boarder folks.
Coming back not so much...

US boarder hassled me about a banana I declared going in. Also questioned why I drove all the way from Nebraska just to buy some post cards in Canada. I thought they were gonna strip the car down and throw me in jail.

My band in the 90s crossed over into Canada (Ambassador Bridge), to do a gig in Leamington, Ontario. They did search the cars, when they popped my trunk, my bass case was the first thing they saw, with a big old leaf sticker right in the center, and I don't mean a maple leaf. Then they did go through everything with a fine tooth comb, found nothing, and sent us on our way. We got to the gig on time and it was a blast. No troubles crossing back over to get home. Fun memory!

I think fender used the same 25w amp design for a long time….the front panels of the RAD Bass 25, BXR 25, rumble V1 25, and I think bass man 25 have the same controls. I have a RAD bass 25 that I use as a practice amp, sounds good, has a nice quiet headphone jack that I appreciate.
