I just went in my local music store to see what they had in used 410 cabs. The guy I deal with pointed out the new Rumble 410 they just got in.
I like this thing.....alot!!!
A couple years ago I had a 410 Pro. I liked that alot too.
The Rumble reminds me of the Pro that I regret getting rid of.
Does anyone know anything about these?
They call these speakers the same thing they called what was in my old Pro. " Fender® Special Design"

It's a 1000 watt 4ohm cab with casters for $299 brand new...seems too good to be true!!!! What is the catch???

The 4x10 is 500W RMS (continuous) 1000W Program (or peak) emphasis should be for a 500W 4x10 cab for $299. For some reason Fender is making it sound like 1000W RMS cab. But I do agree, it is cheaper than other equivalent cabs around. The Eden EX410 is selling for $499. BTW, the Eden is rated 600W RMS. The price difference may be in the construction and materials used. ie MDF vs real plywood. The Fender site is not too forthcoming with what the building materials are, yet they state the 610 Pro is constructed of 3/4" maple, birch plywood bla, bla, bla. I guess you need to use it and hear it, and then tell others about it!;)

Hi,

Here is the response I got from Fender stating that this is what the cab's designer says:

The Rumble 410 has a slightly different low end response than the 112 and 2x8 and Pro cabs. The cabinet was tuned slightly higher so the response would be 50Hz (-10dB) to 15kHz (w/ horn on). The power handling rating is 500W continuous, 1000W program(peak). The cabinet response rolls off @ ~15dB/octave from 80-40Hz, then 24dB/octave below 40Hz.

I use a rumble 4x10 cab with my Hartke lh500, and it's really a great combination. The Hartke pumps out 500w @4 Ohms, the cab is wired at 4 Ohms, so in this small, unassuming little half stack, I'm getting a full 500w of power out of it. And boy, does it sound good.

Hmmh, I'm thinking of buying new cab, and this Fender has been on my mind lately. I also have LH500 which i really like. Can't find too much info from Fender. Is it reliable? I mean, the specs are great, but the low price get's me on my toes. :hiding:

I have a Rumble 410 that I've been hauling to smaller shows for about a year now. It sounds fine and I didn't have any issues until about a week ago when it didn't really survive a fall down a couple of stairs at a venue (not that a lot of cabs do). Up until this, it had survived fairly heavy use with only lost casters and periodic input jack issues.

Overall synopsis, good cab for the money (I paid a little less than 300) but not the most durable piece of equipment I own. Never had any technical issues with it however, and it still works despite being all smashed up.

If I would've had the coin at the time, I'd have gotten the Hydrive 4x10 to go with the lh500. But 700 is alot to pay for a cab and the store I go to always tries to sell me their ultra used floor models at full price. Believe it or not, they're trying to sell a damaged hydrive 4x10 where the paper has separated from the aluminum and it sounds like a rattlesnake. But I was able to get a brand new, in the box, rumble cab for less than half that. The way it mates with the lh500 was just what I was looking for. So they let me play the lh500 floor model thru a rumble 4x10 floor model and I was sold. It can handle crisp, articulate tones just as easily as booming low-end tones. I'm really glad I found this thing.
