What's the story on those pickup rings on the t40?
I'm missing seeing a heap of great pics in the TB forums now since Photobucket has changed it subscription pricing structure without notice from July 1st 2017. I bet there a lot of unhappy people out there now being asked to pay up to $400 a year. The picture below is what Photobucket has replaced your uploaded pictures with. In other words to update your account means PAY UP. In my opinion this almost amounts to extortion but I'm not alone in thinking that either. Plenty on the net if you google "Photobucket Breaks Image Links Across the Internet"

Cool, but expensive down here at AUD$499 & AUD$799Cool looking! I saw them the other day while browsing Fender.com and read about 'em then & there. If I was in the market for a new amp, with or without bluetooth, I'd have to give them more serious consideration. They each have some interesting features.

That is why I usually attach a picture to the reply I'm posting and just add an image with the link to that attachment.

They came on it when purchased......I was going to replace them......but --- why they are worn and tattered like the rest of the bass and have many miles on them.....they work.....and well its a T-40......IMHO they sorta fit the raw vibe of these things.

Sweet, i'm thinking about doing the same thing before the prices go up again. Also, it makes sense if i ever want different amp tone down the road, I can just buy a head to hook up to it. Looks awesome.
Interesting, that has not been my experience. Our univeral health care isn't perfect but it's not as bad as many Americans seem to think. After suffering a heart attack, I had great care in ICU, an angiogram determined I needed a stent and had the surgery to open up the artery in a week. 10 years later I was diagnosed with Leukemia and saw an Oncologist within a week. That was 7 years ago and, knock on wood, I'm in remission. It ain't that bad, don't believe the 'socialized medicine' B.S., folks. End of rant.
No, but I've played my Rumble 500 through a couple SVT-210AV speakers with amazing results. Very light, loud and is a fusion of Fender and Ampeg synergy with all three pieces together weighing under 60 lbs.

It does give me extra options, it sounds great, it's loud as hell and - as you say - it looks awesome into the bargain.
YES, YES, and YES The thing that got me was, when I jam with friends, the 500 is more than adequate, it's kind of a sweet spot actually, and for the money it's a no-brainer.
