Fender & Sadowsky

Knew it. To me it's obvious- the passive bass has the slightly darker, fuller sound, which I prefer.
Funny you say you prefer the Sad live, and Fender in the studio- I prefer exactly the opposite. The Fender has more going on in the mids, which helps it be heard through live clutter better, IMO/IME.

Actually it was all very half-assed on my part, since the idea was to hear the differences I didn't pay much attention to the numbering of the clips.
