Fender Troubles

Here begins my long story of finding a bass.....

So I ordered a bass from my local music shop. A Fender Deluxe Active Jazz V string....guess what...they said it would come in 7 to 10 buisness days...its day 11. I called them up and they said that fender doesnt make that model anymore and are redesigning it. It wont be availible till summer namm. I need a new bass....what do i do? should i wait till summer namm? can somebody help me out with this...I want a 5 string bass, in the $600 price range...i really am upset...

Not a no-name brand

I'd take this bass over 50 Fenders..

Might have to tag on an additional $50, but it would be worth it IMO.

o yeah i forgot plz have 5 over tuning machines...i mean not like 4+1 or 3+2 like what progzilla posted...i just dont like the look of them

Hi!

I ordered a deluxe flycase for my Jazz Bass, I waited for 3 months in France!

Actually, I ordered a deluxe Fender Leather strap, I ordered it in February and don't received it yet!

I've got an Am. Std. 5 string I'm selling that sounds like what you're after minus the Fender pre... it's got barts and is in perfect shape plus I live close enough to avoid shipping. Lemme know what you think man.
