After putting EMG GB pickups in my Squier it sounds massive. Now I'm thinking about changing the V-mod II to a '63 ultra vintage. Has anyone tried the '63's?
That's great news, that's the tone I'm looking for. Hopefully change them out this weekend. Thanks!I have the Fender ‘63 in my Am Pro II and I really love it compared to the V-Mod. The E and A strings sound bigger/fuller without getting muddy. Overall, just sounds more balanced in my opinion.

My AmPro series Precision is like a vintage P on steroids.
