Fender VI bass

Hey guys, so I have always been in love with this bass but never played it. Today I finally did. I loved it, only problem is that it is 3,000 dollars. What do I have? About 600...I could sell my schecter hellraiser and raise enough money, but I want to hear some opinions about this bass!

You should look into the Link Removed, the exact same thing, except much more afordable (curiosly enough it costs $600)

It is a fine instrument, but in my opinion it lacks the character of a standard long scale bass, but still like it.

Peter Hook uses a Shergold wich is the same thing, six strings, guitar tuning, an octave lower, sound awesome.

+1 I have the Schecter and love it.

I don't know anywhere that has this guitar locally...so would I really even have to play it if I've already played the Fender VI? This guitar looks really sick and a lot cheaper. Also would I want to get the Fender VI bass strings for this? They felt really awesome.

Fender Bass VI strings fit. Schecter also makes some very good strings for it. I use the Schecter strings. For cases, it is too long for a guitar case. I use bass cases, both hard cases and gig bags. It is a little small for them, but it works fine.
