Fender - what’s happened to the Lefty Models???

Yeah, they suck. Look around for a player P. Really nice basses cept for the pickup. O have several as well as a made in japan a d american professional ii. There is a nice 1996 american p on reverb and I have seen used american pros for 1100

Yeah, I've been wondering why they haven't release the Player II Active P/J which I believe replaced the Player Plus p/j Lefty. I was willing to get a deluxe or another version but you can't even get a PJ configuration in the MOD shop. So I just check facebook, reverb and ebay every few days seeing if I can find a lefty PJ american or japanese (aerodyne)

It was pointed out to me there are no left handed pianos, drums, etc.

I can’t say it should matter either. Instruments require hand independence. What foot you tap out the beat or favor when swaying along is irrelevant.
Scientifically it isn't irrelevant at all. It's precisely why Western classical instruments and those that reach across many other regions (any guitar shaped) point to the left and are bowed or plucked by the right - people were always right-handed even when they weren't, especially in more backward countries. The "sound" is in the pluck, thumb or bow. But that doesn't mean all instruments are handed. Although a drum set obviously can be. But flutes, for example, aren't handed as such. Pianos aren't either, but the music is effectively right-handed (melodic complexity, and generally more notes, are conventionally given over to the right hand.

There are two Fender Jazz and one Squier Jazz left-handed models on Fender's basses page just today.

EDIT: Just noticed you mentioned a Precision. They have a Fender Player Plus and Squier Classic Vibe 60s model.

Ive got a grandson whos a South paw.
I just watched a YouTube video that said 10% of the population is left handed.
Thats roughly 1 outa 10...right?
Shouldn't they be making 1 left hand bass , or guitar, whatever, for every righty?
Do lefties come to the party in less numbers then their percentage?
🤔
It sucks.. I'm a lefty and it's a limited market. 10%-12% is about right. I'd love to get a lefty Hofner ignition Club Bass.. but, no. (thankfully I do have their LH HIBB violin bass) However.. my daughter and grandson are also lefties. I've given my daughter an inexpensive acoustic/electric that she enjoys noodling around on, but she's more adapt at keyboards. I'd like to give my 12 year old grandson a uke bass or a very short scale electric but the choices are few and too expensive to see if he's really interested in it.
