Finally SX in Spain. Opinions on this model?

So, browsing the web, looking at cheapo basses to add to the collection, I came accross SXGuitars Spain. I have always wanted to try a couple of SX basses, and an SX P Bass would probably be a good (cheap) way of filling the P Bass void, however...

When I visited the site, firstly all of the instruments seem to be different to those in the US (some are similar, but the headstocks are definately different), and there seem to be no prices or any way of purchasing through the website.

I´m confused

SX is a good way to fill the bass void!

But don't be confused! The story is that SX has a policy of only one distributor per country. In the U.S. It's Rondo Music. I presume in Spain it is the one listed on the Website. Presumably there is SOME way to order basses through them. We've wondered about that for some time and since you are in Spain, dig around and let us know!

The Headstock/model thing is that SX does not sell the same basses in all countries. Some of the Big ugly "fishhook" or "canoe paddle" headstocks are ones that were on SX basses years ago. In some countries (apparently not Spain) they even sell basses with imitation Fender-shaped headstocks. In the USA they went from the "paddle" ones to a kind of Sadowsky looking headstock, but apparently somehow Fender (or somebody) got lawyers out and although there wasn't any real action, the threat of it was enough to cause the switch to the now current "URSA" headstock (which most everyone hates). But as far as I know that only happened with Rondo in the U.S.

By the way while the gigantic "canoe paddle" headstock is maximum ugly, a bandsaw easily turns it into a very Fenderish shape! That's sort of the SX history. The cool thing about the Spanish site is they still seem to have models that haven't been available in the US for years. That is if the site is actually being updated and is current. Enquiring minds want to know!

Thanks. I looked at the website (which is not the easiest to search), and came accross something that sort of resembles what I would like:

Its listed as a SX FPB573T, and seems to be the only P Bass with a maple fretboard. I would rather it be a different colour (red or blue), but I can always refinish, and I would really like the maple board.

Anyone have any input on this bass in particular?
