What type of finger board do you like on a Fender Precision Bass, maple or rosewood?

I've never heard of a walnut fingerboard.

Its an 82' Walnut P Special. The whole thing is Walnut apart from a maple skunk stripe on the back of the neck. I will take a close up of the board when I get home later

Rosewood.

I have no idea why, but I love rosewood on my P basses, maple on my Jazz basses and rosewood on basically everything else.

Rosewood if fretted. Maple if fretless, those maple board fretless Ps are fantastic
