Fingerstyle question

I play (mostly) finger style, using index, middle and ring fingers of my right hand (rather than 2) and was wondering the R hand technique for 16th note scale climbs (3 notes per string) in 4 note groups (ex: C D E F/ D E F G/E F G A etc).

I can't seem to get any faster and get tripped up with my fingers!

Thanks for the help

Is it a mental trip up or a physical one? By that i mean if you play as slow as you can and the finger trip up it is a mental problem, if not it is a physical one. The two have a different approch to fixing.:D

Take your time with it.

Perhaps you should try playing like this at the speed you want to get to ultimatley:

G|------------------------
D|------------------------
A|----------2-2-3-3-5-5-
E|-3-3-5-5--------------- etc.

So, doubling the notes at your desired speed- say 130 bpm 16th notes. Once your comfortable with your right hand, add the left hand and play single notes.
