Hey all. Got myself an Angry Ape Fuzz from EC pedals. Pretty cool tone, even though I get drown out by the rest of the band whenever its engaged, but what are you gonna do?
My issue is that it works awesome when it wants to, other times it will just be dead. When I say dead, I mean that when it is engaged, the light comes on and I get little to no signal, but when its off the signal still goes through. At first I thought I blew it up with a bad daisy chain, but I plugged it in a few weeks later and it was cool. Then a day later its not cool. Then a few weeks later its cool again.
It's still under warrenty, so I can send it back to Israel and they'll look at it, but I figured I would ask the mighty brain of Talkbass for guidance before I did anything else.
