That's a nice piece of gear. I wish we'd had a couple of those at my park back in 2016. But at 30mil each, I'll only request one, for now.

Not a pilot or aviation guru...

But , I'd bet it feels a bit piggy when you add 11,000 pounds and then acrobatic after a dump. Those who pilot must feel like the king of the world... what a cool job...

Immensely cool! I love the addition of WWII-style invasion stripes. Reminds me of one of my favorite songs I've recently discovered, Steve Earle's "The Firebreak Line."

I remember being on a field trip in the mid 80s on Vancouver island. The fire waterbomber planes they had back then were similar. We got to climb into the tank reservoir part of the plane. Can’t remember the platform…bigger than a Twin Otter, smaller than a Herc.

Edit - quite possibly the Martin Mars waterbomber.

Edit 2: yep, confirmed. Two of the remaining four working out of Sproat Lake near Port Alberni. That’s where we did the field trip (we were on a high school rugby tour that year).
