Hey FirePod users -- I'm working out a monitoring model for use with my FirePod, and I have a couple questions.
First, is there any way to have the Pod run "hardware" monitoring?
Obviously, you have the mix control for the headphone output, but I'm thinking more about how to use the 1/4" outs 1-8 on the back.
The trick is in how to monitor the input(s) without making the signal have to go into the PC --> DAW --> FirePod out.
I'd rather have the input automatically sent out the corresponding 1/4" jack on the back. Is that possible? Seems reasonable, given the fact that the signal is already coming out the headphone jack (via the Mix control)
I want to get a little more control than just the Mix knob. I have a mixer, so its just a matter of figuring out what the hardware can do, since the manual doesn't help much.
