So, I have my first audition for an original metal band in a few weeks. And we have been talking for the past week getting as much info from each other so we wouldnt have any suprises when we meet up. I guess I should post a little about the band so...
- 4 members (singer/guitar A, guitar B, drummer, and keyboard)
- No drug use
- Say they have about 7 bands they can open for
- Influences: Slipknot, Korn, lamb Of God, system of a down, tool, mushroomhead, deftones, and more
So the singer wants me to learn some songs of my choosing so they could see what my style is. How many songs should I do? Im thinking around 4-5 so far Im thinking of

Before I Forget - Slipknot
But thats about it. Any help with songs? Have you been in an audition like this? Any tips?
