So here it is. My first bass. :D
I got it from pete's bass shop when i was down in portland two weekends ago and i love it. Pete did a great job with set up and everything. Its a 1950ish Schuster. Its great. it has a really clear top end especially up past thumb position and a really deep bottom end. Its really quick and punchy and the sound is huge under a bow. :hyper:
    I am really excited.
Hope you enjoy looking at it as much as i like to play it.

    Congradulations on a beautiful bass.

For a name what do you think of Selena?

When I see a DB the first image that comes to mind is a woman with a big backside. And Selena shure had one.

    Good Luck

I really cant put it down. i must have played for 3 consecutive hours today. Its awesome
intonation between stops are a little more difficult down near 1/2 position but they sound gret from 1st position up through thumb and beyond :)

speed up or slow down? isnt that my right hands job???? :eyebrow: hahaha

i would describe the finger board as fast, but i dont think thats what youre asking...

but seriously to say its spectacular is an understatement :D

Are you refering to the mexican american pop star? or are you eluding to some woman from your past? ;)
i do have to agree, it does remind me a woman with some junk in the trunk ;)

Actually I am referring to Selena (the pop star). I grew up in Texas and that girl was everywhere, Way before she became a Pop Star.

There aren't many around with more "junk" in the trunk.;) Usually If they've got "junk" in the trunk:), They've got "junk" all over the car.:help:
