First build(s), Twin six strings

Hi

I am building myself two basses. If they are going to be playable is a question I will have to wait some weeks to answer.

The design I am using is borrowed (stolen) from the 7 string fretless Wilser is currently building for Bob (RLK). I just loved the design so much that I knew I had to have one, but the waiting list for his basses is too long for me right now. I hope you are okay with me borrowing your ideas and I really hope you take it like the huge compliment it is, Wilser!

Now a little about the specs.

Similarities:
Body shape
neck (maple, mahogany, maple)
string amount and spacing (6 string, 19mm)
Electronics (glockenklang 3 band and piezo pickups)
one truss rod and two graphite reinforcement bars
kluson tuners

Fretted
Mohogany body, spalted maple top, bloodwood fingerboard
Fanned frets
Bassculture custum pickups
Ets individual bridges with piezo

Fretless
Ash body, quilted maple top, ebony fingerboard
Partial lined fretless (like the Ramirez bass I am stealing ideas from)
Delano pickups
Hipshot bridge with piezo

Please give me constructive criticism and ideas how to make this happen. I will like to thank Wilser for all the great basses he is building and because he shares his knowledge with us hobbyists that just love basses!

(sorry for my bad english, I am norwegian)

Did the scarf joints today. The fanned scarf got me thinking, but I think (hope) I got it right. I have also worked some more on the fretless fretboard, but I messed up using the planer. I will probably have to redo the whole fingerboard...
