First build - work in progress

Thank you all very much for watching, replying, supporting, inspiration, tips and the good karma in general!

Apart from some neater shielding/isolation within the electronics cavity I'm now officially done - it has a passive -> active switch, series -> parallel push/pull knob and treble and bass boost in active mode (I wanted a passive tone control but that's not compatible with the pots, yet).

Yes! I'm already hatching up the next one. I want to have many new things to learn so it will be a bolt-on, fretted, 5-string (through), jazz-ish bass! Yay!

What do you think of my art deco approach on this one? ;)
 
Yes I made it :) I think it actually complements it quite nicely (in use it's on my other side haha), plus it is something less ordinary than you would normally see. The weight is just under 4,5 kg, not exactly light but for a single cut I'm surprised it's not more!

I usually post all the stuff I make here, if you're interested :)
