First Build: Yggdrasil

G'day all

Well, it has been a somewhat short four months as this project has finally come to some sort of a close. The build was a rollercoaster of emotions. I had built a neck and was routing the truss rod cavities, and somehow routed too deep, so that neck was ruined. I then said f**k it and built a 13 piece neck, which looking back, is way overkill, but it is what it is. Overall, in my personal opinion, it plays great and sounds better than my other bass. Also, the body wood (muninga) was brought back from Africa by my grandparents in the mid-sixties when they lived there for a few years.

Anyways, all I can say is that I am addicted to woodworking!
