The finished article. oh the neck also needed the finger board to be re finished as there were some dings. a re-fret

and a new top nut due to some home filling at some time in its past.

That looks really good, I dig that body shape. The peghead shape works well with the body imo.

I don't, it was not pretty, an early / mid 80's plywood slab in one of those metallic crackle finishes

Then, beyond the quality of the work involved, you have obviously improved on that. I have seen those guitars...

thanks. I've done a few basses in the past, the one in my Profile pic is a fun one I did for a Halloween gig, this was my first guitar.

Thanks. The tone and sustain were a great improvement, I was expecting some, but not as much as I got, everyone commented on how round the tone was from high treble to warm bass. Good wood does make a difference in a solid body, well in this case.

Thankyou, I like a longer than usual upper horn, it helps with any neck dive issues. But making it look right can be an issue.
