First post introduction

Hi everyone,
Just found this site during a google search for sadowski.

Anyhow I am British from Cornwall in the UK. I lived in the US for 10 years in Virginia nr DC and am now living in Lagos Nigeria. I have a wife and 2 kids and am the COO of a large electrical engineering company.

I have played in bands for many years and had a recording studio for about 5 years in the US. My main instruments are guitar and bass although my passion is more towards the bass. I play, fretted and unfretted, 4 string and 5 string, electric and upright.

However if I were to choose one instrument it would have to be a fretted 5 string as it is the most versitile and can be used in most situations. It is especially good when playing with vocal groups who keep changing the key on you.

I have a Yamaha Attitude 5 string, which is supprisingly good considering the $10000000000000 I've spend on equipment and the little I have spent on this.

Living in Nigeria has certainly curbed my gas problem as you can't buy anything over here. I am using a fretless neck on my 65 pbass as I can't even find a neck here. Also strings are very hard to get hold of, so I have to make mine last much longer.

Anyhow, the only thing I am gassing for now is a Sadowski bass that hopefully one day I will be able to buy.

I also ramble a lot as you can probably see.

Anyhow cheers for now
