Hello Talk Bass community. My name is Doug and I've been lurking on this site for a few weeks but I figured since I picked up my new bass today I might as well get myself official here. I've always loved the bass but my playing experience is basically non-existent. My daughter plays so I dabbled around with her bass but that's about it. Fortunately, I can read bass clef music( I think I still can). Anyway, I've heard it said here that if you don't post a pic of your guitar you don't really have it so pics are included. It's a '92 Ibanez SR800 i got from GC for 250.00. From what I hear, it's a pretty good bargain. Looking forward to a lot of learning from TB. Glad to be here.
