Was looking at some MIM and Am Pro p Basses and jazz Basses today. Several of the MIM jazz Basses had string that were shifted to one side of the fretboard by about 1/16". I could not see where the bridge allowed side to side adjustment of the strings to help center them. Is this adjustable, or is this luck of the draw with the MIM instruments? The MIM p Basses and Am Pro looked good. It was just the jazz Basses that were off center.

But as long as the strings aren't sliding off the edge of the frets I wouldn't worry about it.

OR, you can loosen the strings, back the neck screws out about 2-3 turns and shift the neck in the pocket to where the strings sit a little more evenly on the neck then retighten the screws.
