Saw a band recently, bass player has a nice Nash P, sounded really good, had the EB flats on it. I bet they'd sound absolutely great on the retro 'RayI had EBMM Cobalt flats on my classic (no longer own it) and still have them on my 3 band, I think they are a perfect match.
Here's what I use/love.
I used to run SM77s. Now I runs Ernie Ball Group 3 flats. I like them both. SM77s last forever but they're "tighter."Just bought a 70s retro Stingray reissue. I’d like to plus flats on it. any suggestions? Thanks.

Ernie Ball flats are pretty good and if you have a light touch and don't mind the cost , you could think about TI's .
Doesn't it come wearing flats?
They did in the 70's (GHS Brite Flats, if I remember correctly).
Glad I could help! They need a little bit of break-in but then stay very long at this sound. Enjoy them! Thanks! I got 760FS-TB. They sounded so good in this video I had to.
