Flats for short scale Bas

Good luck finding the right flat for your bass and your tone goals. There are a good number of flavors and the only way to really know is to try them. The good news is that they are easy to sell on TB if you don't like them.

I like LaBella and GHS with Fender and TI right behind.

Thanks, I tried some Chromes, but didn't care for the sound so then I tried some Chromes and they were too bright, so I got a set of Chromes and, guess what, they were a little too bright for me LOL!

Just messing back at you man, seriously, thanks for the reply and recommendation. Rock on!

My preference on my short scale basses (I only have short scale basses) are TI flats.

I also love Rotosound 77s but I found they did not last as long as I would want them to.

You gotta give em time to mellow. Once they do they are perfect and then last forever.
