Both are in the same ballpark sound wise. They are the darker of the flats sound wise.
Depending on the gauge of string you go with labellas will be a higher tension string.
Hopefully i can word this right....
Labellas will give you a thuddy dark tone with a hint of high mid that usually will settle down.
GHS will give you a low mid purcussive tone. Woody, hollow kind of sound.

My choice would be GHS but thats just because of the tension.
As they age they are incredible strings.
So are the labellas but they seem to be thuddy and darker whereas the ghs can still be a little brighter if you want.

Neither one are bright at all.
Labella will be at the start but after they break in they are thuddy and dark.
Ghs will take longer to break in from my experience on the higher strings.
Good to hear. I hope i described them properly for you. Give them 4-8 weeks of solid playing and they get better.
I just put GHS precision flats on my Studio 6. Granted, it's only been one day. I am happy with them so far..
I use nothing but GHS flats on my sixes; never had any regrets and most likely will never change. They have the sound and playability I want.
Ordered my sets through jason BSO but the order was routed to GHS themselves. Should be fresh when I get them. Gonna save them for the new Clement bass being built.
