Strings look good no real wear.

TI Jazz Flats do not wear out like other strings. They last longer than any other string I have ever tried and others say the same. I have them on 4 basses and the newest set is over 5 years old. I have two new sets in a drawer, so when they need replaced I will. Have not needed to yet.

that's just because they are flats. comparing to the "brand new tone", TI don't last much, but the sound they get when worn out is (to many players) a wonderful sound.

IMHO other flats keep the sound better, and don't change much during the first period. I hate brand new TIs, with the E and A that sound like rounds :P
