Despite having built a bass guitar 30 years ago and owning bass guitars I am not really a bass guitarist. However the kind ergonomics of the Kala UBasses have revived my joy of playing low plucked strings. And I know the scales on the equidistant EADG strings.
Playing tunes and improvising in the contrabass range is fun, but doing so an octave higher with the same scales and the same string feel (almost) could be more practical.
Kamoa makes this bass uke tuned EADG an octave above the UBass. I have not been able to get any real information on sources for replacement strings. Hence my asking here among the experts:

Anybody aware of an obvious supplier of relevant strings? Preferably with an outlet/dealership within the EU.
Purely from the application of Pythagorean string math the 4 top strings from a 34" or 35" bass guitar with a high C string would match the high EADG tuning on a 21" instrument (even with a little less tension), but I have no idea whether such strings would be easy to fret.
