Flatwounds for a six string

I recently purchased a new six string bass, and I'm looking for a set of flatwounds for it. I'm having some trouble though, as my bass utilizes through-body stringing and requires extra-long scale strings, as the bass itself is a 35 inch scale.

Any suggestions on what to buy?

LupinVonRain,

I had the same problem finding flatwounds for a 6-string fretless bass I built.

The only 6-string set I could find that were flatwound and were long enough to fit the thru-body design of the bass were the Thomastik-Infeld JF366 string set. The only place I could find them was on bassguitarstrings.us. Read the product details on that site for the JF366's, they'll give you actual measurements of each string so you can make sure they'll fit your bass before you drop the $80 on that set.
