Double Bass Flesch Scale System

can anyone recommend this for double bass? is it the same exercise basically transposed to all the keys over and over or is there more material (exercises 1-3 page 4). i saw a sample page somewhere with the c major exercises that looks to be about 10 measures long transposed to 3 octaves. is that basically it or is there more?

Yes, the Flesch scale exercises are the same pattern in each key. In the original, there are different bowings for each new key.

Some advantages to having them written out are:
-you don't play by ear, but learn to read the music, always a plus,
-you can write fingerings in for future study
-you don't have to wonder what to practice every day, just open the book.

well, yeah, and if its the same thing written over and over in every key then all i need is the first page. being a jazz musician im used to practicing everything in every key. and reading scale exercises wont help my reading much at this point i dont think.
