Flight Case for Modulus Quantum

What are the best flight case options for a Modulus Quantum? Will it fit in an SKB 3i waterproof style case, and does anyone have experience with this specific case?

What else should I be looking at in the 300-350$ price range?

20150215_164038.jpg I would just stick with the Mod factory case. My US Cirrus has the same model, and they're freaking BOMBPROOF...more than flight-worthy.

I'm guessing yours has the thick raised lines going across the case like mine?

Nope, my Modulus is (relatively) old, it's from 1991. The case for it, while not bad, isn't up to getting tossed around on an airplane and I also don't have the key for the locks. Any suggestions on thoughts for a new flight case?

SKB Bass Safe works the trick along with a gig bag. Light weight and having the gig bag with you means you can leave the flight case at the hotel or whatever. The latching is a bit wonky but a bungie or a velcro strap makes it easy for the TSA (the stupid agency) to close it up securely. Probably don't want locks. They need to be the TSA type and its fairly worthless to lock the case. If someone wants it, they'll take the bass, case and all.

Anyway, the Bass Safe is light, inexpensive and does a great job.

TF, not in my opinion. When I get a new case, the first thing I do is throw away the keys that come with it. That insures I don't lose a key and lock myself out. In terms of air travel (and in general), if it goes missing it will most likely be the bass and the case. Again, my opinion. If the locks help you feel more secure, by all means.
