Gonna be flying to Eastern Music Festival in about 4 days. I have the bass situation taken care of (my teacher is kind enough to let me use his flight case), so I'm not worried about that, but I am curious about the stool. I've been told there are no guarantees that while at EMF, I'll have access to one of their stools at all times (i.e., for practice and such), so I'm considering taking a K&M stool, but it's one of the older tripod models, so it doesn't necessarily pack too well. Anybody have any ideas/thoughts for flying with a stool? Is carry-on even an option?
