Hello all,
Up for sale in my Fodera Emperor 5 Standard. I purchased the bass from the original owner in 2016. Sadly, I came back from a year deployment in 2018 and discovered that humidity and climate affects finishes. As you can tell from the pictures it has 5 cracks in the finish. 4 of the 5 are reasonably small, on the back, and hard to notice unless you’re in the right light. There is a big one that starts on the front and wraps all the way around the bass to the back, which is noticeable if you’re up close to the bass. Other than that, it is a wonderful bass and in really good condition. I moved on to guitar, and haven’t played bass in about 5 years. It’s just been sitting untouched in its case for a while and could use some love…that and a string change.
Not sure how to price it with the damage, so I’ll start at $4000, since all others are going well north of 5K.
Since I'm not really playing bass anymore, the only trades I would consider would be a Martin D18 or D28 or a nice nylon string classical guitar.
Let me know if you have any questions! I'm happy to take more pictures, if someone wants.
Joe
