This Fodera Emperor was purchased by me in 1998 and has been my
main bass since then. It was modified with the extended peghead for a tighter low B string. Also, has the Mike Pope preamp.
Here are the specs:
34" scale length
Alder Body
Rare Rosewood top (special option)
maple neck with Ebony fingerboard
Pearl Block Inlays
Seymour Duncan Dual Coils
Fodera Muting System
Mike Pope Preamp
There isn't much you have to say to describe these basses. You all know about them. This bass is absolutely killer sounding whether playing fingerstyle or slapping. No Fender jazz bass or Sadowsky has the jazz growl this has (I've owned all). The feel of the neck is superfast, thin and smooth and plays effortless. The Duncan pickups are the older ones which sound way better than the newer models.
If you want the Anthony Jackson muted sound, just turn the switch on the Muting system and you can even make it sound like a baby bass.
Due to some money issues, I am looking to trade for a high end
5 string plus cash:
Let me know your trade offers and we can talk. (I am not in a rush)
