Details

Up for sale is my Fodera Yin Yang Standard. It is serial number 180, completed in January of 2014 and is in perfect condition.

I have done two mods to the bass. Extra parts for the mods came either from Fodera or Mike Pope. And both mods are reversible back to the original condition.

1. In order to better hear subtle changes when blending the pickups, I've replaced the volume/balance configuration with a volume/volume configuration.

2. I've replaced the three band eq with a four band eq. (The pictures below were taken when the bass still had the three band eq.)

Other than that, the bass is stock and in mint condition. It comes with the original, hard case, case candy and tools.

I'm selling this bass for $3,800 via paypal which includes shipping and insurance. No trades please.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

This is one of the most versatile basses I've owned. With an alder body, P pickup and in passive mode, it can definitely cope a P bass vibe. Both pickups on, cut the low mids and boost the high mids and highs and this bass sounds as modern as it gets.

The Standards have all the Fodera quality without the Custom price.

And, the chair is not for sale. :rollno:

Well, you could sell the chair for $3,800 and keep the bass.

Beautiful bass bump.......

The preamps in Fodera Standards are Mike Pope Flexcore preamps. They are modular and solderless. So what I did was swap out a single band mid eq module for a dual band mid eq module. And I swapped out a balance module for a second volume module.

The controls are as follows (starting with the pot closest to the neck): bridge vol/passive tone, neck vol, hi/low, hi mid/low mid and active/passive switch.

I mostly play it like a P bass so the neck vol is always all the way up and the switch is in passive mode. I'll preset the eq for a modern sound with the hi and hi mids boosted and the low mids cut. This way, when I turn on the active mode, I go from a vintage P tone to a modern tone. Roll on the bridge pickup for an even more modern tone.

Sorry for the quick pic but it was all I could get tonight.

Had my eye on this beauty before you snatched it up. Still loving it. If you decide to open to trades, check with me. I've got several high-end options. I'm not far away.
Also have two basses up for sale and might get lucky soon.

Either way, GLWTS
