John Paul Jones and Led Zeppelin from In Through the Out Door. Catchy bass line in C major with almost no accidentals. 12/8 time signature is fun. The middle part shifts to a La Bamba thing in cut time. Then back to the 12/8 for the end.

Lee, et al... are the descending phrases at the end of bar 21/22 and 31/32 the same, each time they repeat? I swear I'm hearing something different... maybe a different instrument riding over top? Maybe a lack of coffee, while listening to it?

Lee, for some reason, the sections you uploaded do sound the same... even more pronounced, than what I was listening to. Any extra processing on your part? The one slowed down is really bass forward, too.

Thanks for taking the time, AND sharing!

I created a new mp3 with Moises to highlight the bass part, then I opened the new mp3 with my Transcribe! template for Fool in the Rain. Finally I extracted both of the four measure segments to new MP3 files from Transcribe!

I just started using Moises. Count me as a fan. It must use AI or something. It's not just absolute frequencies. Moises does things that an EQ cannot do. It somehow "hears" the bassline.
