Okay. Have had it for a few months now.

Overall, I'd say it is about a $1500 instrument, not a $2000 instrument, so it is a little overpriced. It has become my go-to bass, but mostly because of the pickups, preamp and the way I have it set up.

Where it shines:
Perfect balance, size and weight.I like that the body is larger than the 3/4 P basses and it has a real "professional instrument" feel to it.
Lollar pickups have good output.
Aguilar 18v preamp delivers an entire menu of tone variations.
Neck feels good, with a Jazz profile to it.

Where it lacks:
Out of the box needed setup and the intonation was way off. My EBMM was dead-on out of the box in every way.
The green is not as bright as the pic indicates. Some might prefer that, but I'm a flash guy so I was a little disappointed.
High mass bridge raises action a little too high. After dropping the E all the way down, I did escape having to shim the neck, at least for now. I may just jettison the bridge in favor of a vintage Fender style instead of shimming if it comes to that. Shouldn't have to do that on a $2g instrument.

The Form Factor Audio Wombat is on the top of my list of things to buy solely because of the name.
The name is cultural appropriation, and it must stop. Heading to twatter now to whine about it.

The only thing that makes Wals sort of unique is the electronics package, and these don't have it. So my rating is 'meh'.

Weird how you guys who love to complain about "politicizing" are always the first to politicize things, and who endlessly whine about people whining.

Clearly I'm not cultured enough to he offended? What on Earth about that name is offensive? A wombat is an animal. Form Factor is literal.
