Okay. Have had it for a few months now.
Overall, I'd say it is about a $1500 instrument, not a $2000 instrument, so it is a little overpriced. It has become my go-to bass, but mostly because of the pickups, preamp and the way I have it set up.
Where it shines:
Perfect balance, size and weight.I like that the body is larger than the 3/4 P basses and it has a real "professional instrument" feel to it.
Lollar pickups have good output.
Aguilar 18v preamp delivers an entire menu of tone variations.
Neck feels good, with a Jazz profile to it.
Where it lacks:
Out of the box needed setup and the intonation was way off. My EBMM was dead-on out of the box in every way.
The green is not as bright as the pic indicates. Some might prefer that, but I'm a flash guy so I was a little disappointed.
High mass bridge raises action a little too high. After dropping the E all the way down, I did escape having to shim the neck, at least for now. I may just jettison the bridge in favor of a vintage Fender style instead of shimming if it comes to that. Shouldn't have to do that on a $2g instrument.
