Forum newbie wanting to replace dead school basses

Hi im kinda new here but I've been playin bass for about a year now. I have my own bass (encore PK40) but my schools need replacing. 1 is dead another is about to and the third (an encore PK40) has had nemerous repair jobs. I hear that the Ibanez GSR200 is a very good bass for its price range, but if theres any others that are hardwearing and are reasonably cheap let me know
