Forum search index is being rebuilt 7/17/18

@Moderators FYI, after upgrading the DB server last night it became necessary to do a rebuild of the search index. The rebuild will continue today/tonight and hopefully finish early morning Wednesday.

Users will notice that advanced searches don't return results as expected, the "my content" page in usercp will be missing posts, and classifieds searches will be missing results. The regular search box still works as normal (uses Threadloom, not our index).

Currently we are about 1/3 of the way through the process, with 7.5M posts indexed thus far.

I was literally just typing a thread asking what was up with the search.

Not a moderator but I had noticed - having joined in December 2013, none of my posts turned up in a "your content" search, unlike the veterans'; but I'd also noticed that the upper limit of old posts being shown was moving forward (which pointed to a forum update). As of now, it's at (late) June 2011.

right on! i don't understand any of the inner workings of that project, but sounds important and im glad you guys are getting the job done! Big Thanks!
