FOUND gibson thunderbird, maple

Today someone came in to the shop and handed this to me and said "It looks expensive I think it someone lost it."

Well if this was the bass you lost PM with serial, year and a picture of the bass, and the certain wood grain pattern defect. so I can verify you own it!

Whoever lost this bass really is lucky the bass is in prefecto shape, and your hardshell case is still intact, I will ship it to you free.

That is absolutely amazing. I hope you remembered to document the individual's details that brought that bass into the shop. Hmmm...wonder where he "found" it.. did he say?

yeah i got his name number and address, standard found instrument policy :rollno: (neverhappens) anywho he found it back stage at a show he did recently.

its a gibson 4 string not epi i just just tht pic

I don't know that they ever made a Gibson that looked quite like the Epi at the top of the pic you posted. Or that they ever used maple for a body wood (guitar, yes, bass...???)

They offered a zebrawood T bird a few years ago (lighter body color), that was beautiful, but is also quite rare...

...just trying to help others get a visual of the bass you're holding...
