Found this on top of a dumpster

Yesterday I was at my cousin's apartment picking up some sockets, and saw this (silver/grey Ibanez) sitting on the top of the dumpster

I'm not a huge fan of Ibanez basses, but I plugged it in and it sounds pretty good, so I figured I might make it into a project and try to make it more visually appealing. Has anyone ever seen any customized Sound Gear SR400's? Any tips or ideas would be sweet!

Anyway, this bass is where bassgod's factory electronics wound up. Restored to original condition (or thereabouts) and donated to a local church...

...certainly better than winding up in a landfill.

I HIGHLY doubt that the owner of the bass threw it away. I'm thinking someone else got mad and threw it away.

Rub it down with alcohol. It was on a dumpster--you don't want to carry any nasty microbes into your home.
