This thread is meant to entice Mr. Hammon to make some more of his wonderful pickups. I forget what they are called, but I know they're Dark and they're Starry. In any case, Mr. Hammon, if you read this, know that we here at TB love your product and cordially request that you produce more (with 2 ear-marked for me :D ) !

Yeesh...thanks for the warning. Too bad...he disappeared at a time when he could have been raking in orders. This has the feel of a personal issue...I sincerely hope not, and that Fred is well. Seems like there are only 3 of us who wanted some of these pups. That doesn't sound right.

Judging by your handle, you're a Reverend guy...me too. I've owned each of the USA models at one time...I've also got a Dub King...Joe makes great gear!

I actually managed to talk to Fred on the phone last year. Wanted to buy a pickup for a custom build. Gave him my email to send invoice & never heard from him again.

I left a message & a week later, he called me back! Admitted that his mailbox was full & decided to call the very last message. Felt like I won the lottery,... alas, I didn't. :hmm:

I'll start by saying don't know Fred. He used to come by the pickup makers forum back when he got started. But from what I understand he's an engineer full time, and does the pickups on the side. That might explain some things, but I don't know.

Posting something on his website would be a good idea.

I just moved over the last two weeks, and had to make a mention of that on my website because my workshop was dismantled and in boxes!
