I've been struggling with the Freeway Switch Ultra for a while. I'm not really sure how it works even after looking at the schematic, and wiring examples. I'm hoping someone can help me with this. Maybe help explain how it works, or show how one of the series wirings could work with another pickup or half of a pickup in parallel. What I have here is the part of position 1 and 3 that is in parallel, as well as position 2, which is all in parallel.
It looks to me like I can't generalize it though, so in reality, this part working might break the rest. The positions I would like are on the right. Most are a combination of coils in series and the two other coils in parallel. If you're familiar with the Freeway Switch Ultra, please note that I've changed a lot to be more in line with the use it's planned for. And it just makes more sense in my head.
1A connects to the other 1A. 2A connnects to the other 2A. CA outputs the positions that are currently selected. Like position 1, which can include the two 1A's. CB connects the B's like the 2 3B's. They can also be externally connected by attaching a jumper wire. I just don't know how to fit all the positions onto the switch without interfering with other settings.
Positions are:
1) Bridge Series, Neck Parallel
2) All Coils Parallel
3) Bridge Parallel, Neck Series
4) Outer Series, Inner Parallel
5) Bridge Series, Neck Series
6) Inner Series, Outer Parallel
This is what I have so far:
