French toast!!

My guitarist just recently bought a danelectric French toast. It sounded alright you know. Did its thing. And for a show this weekend we plan on throwing out gratitude as a tribute to mca. Threw that thing on my bass and it's the meatiest most fuzziest thing I've ever heard. Sounds great on bass. So needless to say. I have a new pedal. Are those things bass/guitar dedicated or just a pedal. Works way better for my bass than his guitar but he bought it as a guitar pedal.

Really? I never knew it was a Tone Machine clone. Loves me some Tone Machine. (On guitar at least.) Never heard one on bass.

Yes, it is a Tone Machine clone. The fOXX Tone Machine is one of my favorite fuzzes on earth, and yes, it sounds fantastic on bass.

I'm no expert on pedals in the least bit. But this thing is amazing. Just got through with a practice. And it's nice and present and tasty by itself and when the rest of the band kicks in. It fades into the mix just right. Still obviously there. No doubts. But doesn't overpower. Just sounds meaty and nice.

The French Toast is a tasty little pedal I used one until I got a GGG BrassMaster but it's still around. One gtr player i work with has one on his board and another went the boutique route for an octave fuzz (but honestly the French Toast sounds just as good for 1/5 the price)

I have some love for Dano pedals Daddy O is my fave TS clone, Milk Shake is a nice chorus and the Psycho Flange is a very unique sounding pedal.
