OK, cash flow will pick up now that the school year has started and one thing on my GAS list would be a fretless acoustic bass guitar, preferably with an unlined neck. I used to have a Michael Kelly Dragonfly and liked it, regret selling it, but I also have my eye on either a Godin A4 (or maybe A5) or a Carvin AC40 (or AC50). Anyone care to share their experiences with these, as far as tone, balance, playability, reliability, etc.? I like the Godin but I understand it has a flatter fretboard and I tend to like them with a lower radius. Neither is in stock at any stores around me so this would be a purchase on recommendation. Any other suggestions also welcome. Thanks!
