I can attest to Warmoth being of extremely high quality. I adore my full Warmoth jazz, it's my main player, and I plan to get another.
On the other end of the spectrum, I can also attest that the necks over at http://www.eyguitarmusic.com/ are quite good bang for the buck. The finish on mine is, shall we say, a bit sloppy, it really should have been sanded finer, and it doesn't fit the neck pocket as tightly as my Warmoth, BUT the truss rod works right and I was able to set the neck dead straight without any fingerboard leveling or anything like that. The nut did need to be filed down, since it was cut as on a fretted bass. It's totally functional and dirt cheap, I couldn't be happier.
